After moving to Pittsburgh from Brooklyn, I began making replicas of NYC-style steel security doors out of reclaimed material found in Pittsburgh. This is an ongoing series through which I maintain a connection to both my new and old home cities, creating the comfort and familiarity of the past from fragments found in the present.
